Challanging situation for media Planners in India

The Volatility of Indian entertainment channels impact on its audience is very high. The datas in terms of Gross rating Points is changing dramatically in each week. Despite of the deep understanding of Indian audience, Channel content directors are failing to retain its audiances periodcally.

Week 49 of TAM 2011s data provided by some of the media, Star Plus remained the leader for this week as well with 318 Points, last week it was 312. Sony Entertainment Television has again made a comeback to the No. 2 position by adding a few GRPs this week. The channel has registered 240 GRPs this week, last week 231.

Colors goes down to No 3 position again by loosing 50 GRPS in an week. From 277 Points to 227 Points this week. The top 5 shows for Week 49 (November 27 – December 3) are Saathiya (6.0 TVR), Diya Aur Baati Hum (4.9 TVR), Balika Badhu (4.3 TVR), BALH (4.3 TVR) and Crime Patrol (3.8 TVR).

Zee TV has added 3 GRPs this week to record 152 GRPs (last week 149). SAB TV has seen some considerable growth after a few weeks, adding 12 GRPs this week to register 120 GRPs (last week 108). At No. 6, Imagine TV has recorded 77 GRPs this week (last week 73). Star One has registered 39 GRPs (last week 42), while Sahara Onehas 39 GRPs (last week 36).

The leaders core role would be as a solution provider & you think you are, but front fellow doesn't want to follow your suggestion.So what to do?

• Before any passes you want to make, just feel the universal potential to solve any problem is inside you. accordingly feel the difference between you & others.
• Make the difference a bit GAP, by updating yourself & learning as quick as possible.
• Read Books as much as you can, as books make spread your ability zone.
• Don't bother about the comments, just follow your own decisions.
• Try to Make all the communications through your Body language, improve it.
• Let your Eye speak instead of mouth. Let the eye should provide the solutions to others.
• Let your head should stand with a right attitude, careful that shouldn't get translated into proud.
• Our body bombard 1 million stimuli in each second to our surrounded, all behave & react to you as per the rate of positivity of the stimuli released by you. Ensure the stimuli should be positive enough.
• A single negative as joke even can destroy you & your dream. So don't even go for a negative joke.

All above are the big solutions to followed by others. Ensure you are in the right.

Be conscious Even a very small action of yours is followed by you.
